Not too high at first (in case it is not a dream or I lose my balance hitting the dirty floor with the bony bum). Then, making a swim movement with arms, I rise higher. And higher. And higher. Till I see the Earth in its green and blue colours and then decide on the direction. I fly East.
I am a witch, I know. Among the human species there aren’t many who can fly, and witches can. But there aren’t that many skills known to me from the whole witchcraft area and this is the only one I can do really well. I don’t even need a broom. I fly to the cavern meeting.
It takes at least 3 witches to make a cavern. But as I land I find myself in front of only one other witch, whom I have never met before. Yet it feels like we’ve known each other through all our lives. She knows my thoughts. She knows my dreams. She wears the same colours, she dreams in the same colours. She flies without a broom too and she doesn’t wear a hat (witches normally do). She’s got the charm of Nanny Ogg and the Weatherwax’s wisdom. “Relax,” – I hear her saying from the corner of her mouth with a shiny mahogany pipe in it and chucks a wool ball: “Catch!”…

I woke up in front of my PC with the monitor on.
I have a dream, a song to sing -
To help me cope with anything.
If you see the wonder of a fairy tale -
You can take the future even if you fail.
I believe in angels -
Something good in everything I see.
I believe in … ghosts
When I know the time is right for me -
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream.
I have a dream, a fantasy -
To help me through reality.
And my destination makes it worth the while,
Pushing through the darkness still another mile.
I believe in ghosts -
Something good in everything I see.
I believe in ghosts…
When I know the time is right for me -
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream…
